Triangular Vest

Basic geometrical shapes are my inspiration 

  While making this design, I played with the triangular shape and the rectangular shape

 using  cotton & lycra tissue fabric, which is a super soft smooth fabric for the 

hot summer days

The Magic happens when the item is worn, and the figure itself carries the fabric  in it's particular form

.and thats  what  determines how the garment will look

I  have learnt to listen and observe the nature of materials

My designs are usually created in such a way, that they can be worn in a few different  ways, enabling us to recreate ourselves each time. This item is extremely versatile as can be seen here ... and  there are many more

My beautiful new books

Since i am an autodidact in the field of  fashion - i know to reach out for my professional development in other mediums  other than  fashion courses

My formal  education was in the field of Fine art : specializing in sculpture 

I studied in Camberwell collage of art -London

and in The School of Visual theater - Jerusalem

after  a  thorough search for the right books  i wished for my learning process

! i finally decided , and here are the new treasuries , that arrived safely last week

Fashion Passion #1

....About 3 months ago i decided to realize a vision i have had for quite some time,  to gather all the fashion & accessories designers of the area I live in, Israel

I strongly believe in co-operations, I may have an individualistic character, but .my soul knows  the power of collaborations

 And so last Friday,  the first event in the series of 6 summer events took 

place  here in the Shihar compound

.It was magical, creative and inspiring

The energy of all of us together was fantastic 

We made a fashion show

This graceful lady modeled The Shihar Line

 she happened to be My beautiful mother
